Ok, first of all, the situation with SSPX is extremely complex and there is no way that Benedict XVI is willing to tolerate anti-semitism given that he was one of the main people responsible for the Church's documents on anti-semitism as a sin.

Second of all, Vatican II has been wildly manipulated from the original documents to what happened in the implementation. Mistranslation was rampant, and things were changed that were never intended to be changed. There is no way that the Novus Ordo in the vernacular language is going anywhere. This is so much bigger than what I could ever hope to explain in an LJ comment, given that there are books on the topic, but the vernacular liturgy is here to stay and musicals are unlikely to be banned anytime soon. I also have yet to hear anything about Benedict XVI having his sights set on banning trousers.
