Vodka advice

I'm having a cocktail party and know nothing about vodka so don't know which brand to get. Sainsbury's has an offer on both Smirnoff Red label and Absolut vodka so that Smirnoff is £12.99 for a litre bottle and Absolut is £15.99 for an litre.
