I use easyCinema (dvd.easycinema.com), which I think might be the same people as LoveFilm, as they often deliver LoveFilm-branded DVDs.
With easyCinema you buy £8 blocks of credit, for which you get four DVDs, one at a time. You can keep each for as long as you like, but the credit expires after ninety days. At the rate at which I've been watching films, I find them very convenient.
