So I'm sitting here in stockings and my dressing gown (easy tiger) waiting for Alec to get here to help me into my ballgown. I'm going to Queens' May Ball tonight and the Met Office have put out a severe weather warning of heavy rain in the East of England. Fun, fun, fun.

Hello Lavendersparkle!

ATERIC sent me one of your livejournal entries back in April, but I was in the process of (read - in the last week of) finishing my D.Phil and hence in no state to say much constructive.

But now I have finished.

And I thought I would get in touch and say 'what ho!', not only because Ateric likes you, and hence I am sure to like you too, or because you clearly like Avenue Q, which is the sign of a very fine person indeed, but because I suspect me and thee are about to go through a whole load of similar questions/ conversations/ thoughts vis a vie getting serious about our Christian other halves :-)

In cheesiest school-ish 'Will you be my friend?'!
